Company Overview

At Bridgenext, we engineer Growth Operating Systems. Most enterprises have spent millions on their revenue stack and still aren't seeing the growth they expected. They have tools that function, but no system that wins. We help growth-hungry companies close that gap by turning fragmented platforms, siloed teams, and disconnected data into one integrated Growth OS. More than a technology company or marketing agency, we're a global digital consultancy with experts in engineering, data, AI, creative and more.

Our teams are made up of experts who believe in engineering impact, starting with putting people at the center of everything we do. Every team member directly shapes our work, culture, and values. Nothing matters more to us than a kind, respectful, fulfilling environment that supports everyone. Our flexible, inclusive culture gives you the autonomy, resources, and opportunities to thrive.

Position Description

The Bridgenext Salesforce & Agentforce Functional Architect plays a critical role in the success of Salesforce engagements, serving as the intersection of application strategy, technical solution design, and client partnership. This role is responsible for deeply understanding client business challenges and leading the definition of innovative, scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.

You will also act as the Product Owner for the engagement, owning the backlog, priorities, and acceptance criteria that turn the solution vision into delivered outcomes.

As a Salesforce & Agentforce Functional Architect, you’ll guide cross-functional teams, spanning multiple time zones, through successful delivery while ensuring continuous alignment with client goals. You will serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders, foster collaboration, drive key decisions, and own the end-to-end solution vision from discovery through enablement and handoff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Solution Definition and Vision

  • Own the solution definition and vision from discovery through handoff, setting the direction that business teams, designers, architects, and developers build toward and keeping it coherent as scope, people, and priorities change.
  • Apply NorthStar, Bridgenext’s framework for aligning project and program definition to the client’s desired outcomes, to guide solution design and architecture choices within agreed financial, timing, staffing, quality, and platform boundaries.
  • Design scalable solutions across Salesforce, Agentforce, related SaaS products, and web technologies, advising on when to use declarative versus custom approaches.
  • Shape Agentforce solutions, including agent design, topics, actions, and prompts, and set guardrails proactively so agents are secure, accurate, and used responsibly.

Client Partnership and Business Alignment

  • Build trusted advisory relationships with executive and technical client stakeholders and maintain shared direction throughout the engagement.
  • Act as the client’s day-to-day product partner, digging into the business goals, success measures, and constraints behind each request.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops that uncover business priorities, user needs, and operating realities, applying the NorthStar framework.
  • Roadmap and Work Definition
  • Own the product backlog and maintain an outcome-driven roadmap that sequences initiatives by business impact, delivery risk, effort, and dependencies.
  • Translate business needs into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, measurable value, and scope boundaries, agreed with engineering, QA, and UX.
  • Keep upcoming work prioritized and refined so the engineering team stays focused on the highest-value outcomes.

Delivery Leadership

  • Define the technical critical path and lead teams through execution, adapting the Agile approach to the needs of the engagement.
  • Run backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution demonstrations, ensuring decisions and feedback shape upcoming work.
  • Coordinate Technical Architects, UX Designers, Developers, QA professionals, and client contributors to resolve issues and deliver a cohesive solution.
  • Own delivery outcomes through go-live, holding yourself and the team accountable for timely, high-quality results.

Decision Support and Communication

  • Keep internal and client stakeholders informed of progress, decisions, concerns, and dependencies, and manage expectations along the way.
  • Act as a strategic advisor: frame solution and scope alternatives, explain trade-offs across value, timing, effort, quality, and risk, and recommend a path. Push back on scope that adds complexity without adding value.
  • Explain technical concepts in plain language to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solution Readiness and Client Enablement
  • Lead user acceptance testing and outcome validation, confirming that delivered capabilities meet acceptance criteria and produce the intended business results.
  • Prepare client teams for sustained use through onboarding, knowledge transfer, and role-appropriate training.

Engagement Health and Account Growth

  • Monitor assumptions, delivery exposure, and unresolved gaps, surfacing risks early and recommending changes when they could affect results.
  • Identify needs beyond the current scope that could shape later phases or expand platform value, bringing the client innovative ideas.
  • Partner with sales on follow-on work, quarterly business reviews, and account planning.

Workplace: Remote, US

Must Have Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience designing complex solutions on the Salesforce platform, using both out-of-the-box capabilities and Salesforce-friendly customizations, including implementation, product development, or (even better) both.
  • 4+ years of professional services consulting experience leading strategic engagements, ideally as a product owner.
  • Experience owning solution definition and vision on complex, multi-stakeholder engagements, with strong examples of implementations spanning multiple technology stacks.
  • Experience owning and prioritizing a product backlog with clear acceptance criteria, and leading teams using Agile frameworks, including writing user stories and running sprint demos.
  • Fluency in Agentforce functionality, with a working understanding of how to design agents and a proactive approach to setting guardrails.
  • Successfully led collaborative discovery workshops with client stakeholders to define business needs and align on solution direction, drawing on both customer experience insights and technical strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools and working with development teams across multiple time zones, including leading teams without formal reporting lines.
  • Comfortable presenting to the C-suite and leading enterprise engagements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation, client-facing artifacts, and explaining technical concepts in plain language.
  • Examples of using Salesforce innovatively to solve problems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce certifications such as App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agentforce Specialist, plus an Agile certification such as CSPO, CSM, or equivalent.
  • Experience leading $1M+ programs or large enterprise initiatives.
  • Industry experience in Financial Services Cloud (FSC), insurance, and/or transportation.
  • Experience writing prompts for Agentforce, including prompts that use Data Cloud.
  • Knowledge of managed package development and AppExchange.
  • Understanding of user-centered design and design thinking using the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
  • Experience with Classic to Lightning migrations.

Professional Skills:

  • Confident running a room, whether it’s a workshop, a demo, or an executive meeting.
  • Willing to say no and hold the line on scope when a request doesn’t serve the client’s goals.
  • Leads through influence and trust, without relying on formal reporting lines.
  • Shows up for the team when it counts, including off-hours go-lives and critical issues.
  • Curious, creative, and eager to keep growing skills.
  • Strong team and individual player who understands that when we win, everyone wins, and who stays composed and collaborative in any situation.
  • Holds high standards of professionalism and quality, and is self-sufficient, requiring very little supervision.
