Company Overview

At Bridgenext, we engineer Growth Operating Systems. Most enterprises have spent millions on their revenue stack and still aren't seeing the growth they expected. They have tools that function, but no system that wins. We help growth-hungry companies close that gap by turning fragmented platforms, siloed teams, and disconnected data into one integrated Growth OS. More than a technology company or marketing agency, we're a global digital consultancy with experts in engineering, data, AI, creative and more.

Our teams are made up of experts who believe in engineering impact, starting with putting people at the center of everything we do. Every team member directly shapes our work, culture, and values. Nothing matters more to us than a kind, respectful, fulfilling environment that supports everyone. Our flexible, inclusive culture gives you the autonomy, resources, and opportunities to thrive.

Position Description

Our client, a global asset management firm, is seeking a senior, domain-heavy Investment Data SME to help define and shape the firm's data model and long-term investment data roadmap. This is a strategic, advisory-caliber role: the SME must be credible enough to engage directly with both business and technology stakeholders, and to help shape a three-year investment-data roadmap — not simply execute pre-defined requirements. Deep, hands-on expertise across the core investment data domains (Holding Master, Security Master, Relationship Master, Transaction Master) and asset management operating processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the senior domain authority on investment data across Holding Master, Security Master (public and private markets), Relationship Master, and Transaction Master.
  • Advise on data architecture and data models for restricted securities/products and Bloomberg-sourced data.
  • Partner with business and technology leadership to help define and shape the three-year target-state investment-data roadmap.
  • Bring deep knowledge of Fixed Income data and analytics to inform data model and platform design decisions.
  • Guide the design of investment-data architecture, ensuring alignment with asset management operating processes end to end.
  • Act as a credible bridge between business stakeholders (investment, operations) and technology teams building the underlying platform.
  • Contribute domain judgment to prioritization and sequencing decisions across the multi-year data ecosystem journey (not a one-time implementation).

Practice Area:  Investment Data Strategy & Architecture — Asset Management

Workplace:  This role is hybrid and open to candidates in the Greater Boston area who are willing to travel to the office 2-3 times per week.

Must Have Skills:

  • Extensive, senior-level experience with Holding Master, Security Master, Relationship Master, and Transaction Master data domains.
  • Strong background across both public and private markets.
  • Direct experience with restricted securities/products and Bloomberg data.
  • Deep expertise in Fixed Income data and analytics.
  • Proven experience shaping investment-data architecture and data models, ideally within a large asset management organization.
  • Strong understanding of asset management operating processes (front-to-back office data flows, investment operations).
  • Demonstrated credibility engaging with both senior business and senior technology stakeholders — able to influence and shape strategy, not just deliver requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience defining or contributing to a multi-year investment data roadmap or target-state data ecosystem strategy.
  • Experience with Databricks or comparable modern data platforms in an advisory or architecture capacity.
  • CFA or equivalent investment-domain credential.

What Success Looks Like:

A candidate who can walk into a room with senior business and technology leadership and be immediately credible — someone who helps shape the roadmap's direction rather than waiting to be told what to build.
